The Public Storage project in Long Island City is a 12-story, 170,000-square-foot climate-controlled storage facility. The final rock anchor test was completed and foundations were finished in May 2023. This allowed for preparation of a 30,000-gallon cast-in-place water storage tank at the front of the building. Six floors were erected on the south half of the building followed by a fourth concrete on deck. Spray-on fireproofing and insulated metal panel installation for the building were set for the summer.

More recently, installation of the building envelope for the Public Storage project in Long Island City is underway. Insulated metal panels are being installed on the bottom half of the building. Full enclosure is expected by the end of the year.

MEPs have been roughed in for the first four floors. Commissioning of the building will begin in early 2024.

Completion of the building is slated for May 2024.
